Carlo Ancelotti's appointment as the new Napoli boss has caused rumours of Sarri potentially moving to Stamford Bridge to intensify.
The 59-year-old had already been consistently linked with the 'Blues' as Conte's future in London looked increasingly precarious.
However, Chelsea's FA Cup triumph last weekend has meant the board are now unsure on sacking Conte but will reportedly use Friday's talks with Sarri as a gauge.
The Premier League outfit may need to move quick though as Sarri has allegedly received a £5.2million-per-year offer from Zenit St. Petersburg, which he is considering quite heavily.
Chelsea would be his reported preference but it could all hinge on how quickly the board decide what to do with the managerial problem.
