Raphinha is one of Barcelona's main transfer targets for this summer. The Brazilian has dazzled in the Premier League at Leeds this season and the Catalan club want to incorporate his talent into their squad. The Brazilian would be a perfect substitute for Ousmane Dembele should he leave 'Los Azulgranas'
Another thing to take into account is Leeds' current situation in the league. Should the Yorkshire club be relegated, the price of Raphinha's release clause will half from 50 million euros, to 25 million. This would represent a bargain considering the performance he has shown this campaign; ten goals and three assists in 35 matches. He has also found himself in the Brazil national team this year.
However, it is not just 'Los Cules' who are interested in the player, but also a number of English clubs. Fabrizio Romano, transfer specialist, has reported that Chelsea and Newcastle are also after Leeds' forward. However, despite this new competition, Romano assures that Barca are still the favourites to sign the Brazilian.
One must not forget the huge task in hand on the last day of the Premier League season when Leeds take a trip to Brentford. Nothing less than a win will suffice in avoiding the drop should Burnley win their game in hand but fail to win their last match of the season.
