Chelsea and Milan reach agreement in principle for Nkunku transfer

The French forward has already said yes to a five-year contract with the Rossoneri, finalised on Wednesday.
Talks between the two clubs continued into today, with Milan and Chelsea now preparing the official documents. The fixed fee is understood to be above €35 million, with performance-related bonuses set to push the total package to around €42 million.
Nkunku, who has struggled for continuity at Stamford Bridge, is open to leaving Chelsea in the final days of the window and has made it clear that Milan is his preferred destination. The Serie A club regard him as a key option to strengthen their attack.
With an agreement in place, all that remains is for the paperwork to be completed before the deal is confirmed. Milan are working quickly to secure him as part of their late push to reinforce their forward line.
