Chelsea agree deal for Portuguese top talent Geovany Quenda

Chelsea have beaten Manchester United in the race for one of the biggest talents to emerge from Portugal this season. The Blues have agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon for Geovany Quenda.
The 17-year-old winger has been convinced after talks with Enzo Maresca, who has explained the London club's long-term project.
According to ‘The Athletic’ journalist David Ornstein, the Portuguese youngster will join the Blues in 2026 and sign a seven-year contract with an option for a further year.
Chelsea will pay a fee of between 45 and 50 million for a dazzling winger who despite his young age has been key to his team this season, having made 45 official appearances this season so far, scoring 2 goals and providing 6 assists so far.
