The 'Red Devils' were put into pot two as a result of their UEFA coefficient, meaning they were bound to get at least one of the strong teams in pot one - although it could not have been their neighbours, Manchester City.
As it was, they have been put in alongside seven-time, back-to-back Italian champions, Juventus.
The 'Old Lady' have been two two finals in the previous four years under Max Allegri and were very unlucky to be knocked out by Real Madrid this time round. Since then, they have added a host of new names to their team, not least Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star will return to Old Trafford, where he first made his name under Sir Alex Ferguson, to play against the team he won the Champions League with in 2008.
Valencia were the third team to be draw into the group, a side not to be sniffed at. The Spanish outfit boast a pacy attack supported by a host of creative midfielders, and manager Marcelino has them playing at a consistently high level.
Last to be put into the group were Swiss team, Young Boys. Based in the capital city, Bern, they have won the Swiss league 12 times.
