According to Celtic boss Rodgers, beating RB Leipzig at home is "within Celtic's capabilities", and is a virtually must-win game if they are to progress through their Europa League group.
The Scottish champions lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Germany this week, but their manager is confident that his side can produce a winning performance in the return fixture at Celtic Park in November.
Celtic sit third in Group B, and trail RB Leipzig by three points, and also trail group leaders RB Salzburg by six. However Rodgers is still confident his side can progress to the knockout stage of the competition, providing they can win on November 8th in Glasgow.
Talking to 'BBC Scotland' after the match in Germany, Rodgers said: "I've seen enough to know we can win at home. We know if we're going to have any aspirations of coming out of the group then it's a game we have to win."
Defensive errors were the chief reason as to why Rodgers side fell to defeat; two lapses in concentration in the space of four minutes in the first half enabled Leipzig to take control of the game.
Celtic have now only kept five clean sheets in 19 away games in Europe under the tutelage of Rodgers, but the Northern Irishman remains defiant that his side can battle their way out of trouble.
Rodgers told 'BBC Scotland', "We're still in with a great chance. We knew our home games were going to be vital. We have to look to win next time and, if we don't, it is really difficult."
