Ceballos hints at Real Madrid exit as Real Betis loom

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has declared himself "open to anything" concerning his "future", a matter he intends to address "in the coming weeks". He has not ruled out leaving the Spanish giants this summer, despite his contract running until June 2027.
"I haven't spoken to Real Betis yet, but this is a very important summer for me and we will discuss my future. Real Betis is my home and will always be my home," Dani Ceballos told reporters at Santa Justa station, en route to his hometown of Utrera for his holidays.
The Betis youth product, who turns 29 in August and departed Real Betis in the summer of 2017, expressed his hope that the Verdiblancos would "always have the door open" for him, despite club president Angel Haro categorically ruling out signing the midfielder just two weeks prior.
Ceballos saw limited action during the Club World Cup, featuring for just 70 minutes across four substitute appearances in the tournament.
