Former 'Gunners' midfielder Santi Cazorla has sent his best wishes to Arsenal's Danny Welbeck, after the Englishman suffered what appeared to be a broken ankle against Sporting CP on Thursday.
Quite a familiar fellow of long term injury himself, Cazorla took to instagram to send a message of support to his former teammate, and insisted that Welbeck will come back even stronger than before.
Now with Villareal in Spain, Cazorla sent his best wishes to Welbeck, and he was not alone in sending tributes to the player, who needed oxygen on the pitch before being stretched off on Thursday night.
The tributes arrived from teammates both past and present, as Arsenal confirmed the 'significant right ankle injury' to Welbeck in a statement on Friday. The club also confirmed that Welbeck will remain in hospital to be assessed, with an update to be expected this weekend.
