Cavani in right place at right time to make it 1-1!

Villarreal got off to a brilliant start in Gdansk. Gerard Moreno put the La Liga side ahead in the Europa League final against Man Utd with a goal which saw Villarreal ahead at the interval. 

But United did not take to long the level things up in the second half. 10 minutes into the second period, Edinson Cavani levelled in a move which saw United get a little bit of fortune in the build up. 

Rashford hit a powerful shot from the edge of the box towards goal, Rulli dived the right way, but the ball hit a player and went to Cavani.

The Uruguayan shot from inside the box and fired home. The VAR was checking for a possible offside, but the Uruguayan was just onside when Rashford shot.

That was Cavani's first goal in his first big European final.
