Edinson Cavani is still undecided about what he will do at the end of the season. The Uruguayan could join Boca Juniors, stay with Manchester United or review any other of the many others which he continues to receive at his age.
The striker is going to end this season with a new lease of life and in fantastic form in front of goal, both physically and mentally. 'El Matador' continues to be the same deadly striker that he was a few years ago.
After his goal in Sunday's match against Aston Villa, Cavani has accumulated eight goals in his last seven matches for Manchester United, as well as providing two assists. The Uruguayan put four past Roma across both legs of the Europa League, one against Burnley, another against Granada and one against Spurs, which could have been two as one was ruled out by VAR.
So far this season, Cavani already has 15 goals in 35 matches, overtaking last season's tally with PSG and eight away from equaling his 2018/19 record. It was precisely in that campaign where Edinson Cavani achieved a similar period of goals as this current spell, where he accumulated nine goals and five assists between 12th January and 9th February 2019 in the French capital. His best performance was against Guingamp, against whom he scored a hat-trick and also provided three assists.
