Casemiro made it 2-1 to Real in the round of 16 second leg tie, scoring his side's second goal in the 82nd minute of the game.
Just like PSG's equaliser, the goal came as a result of some messy play. PSG gave the ball away and Real countered through Lucas Vazquez, who hit a low cross that was cleared by Adrien Rabiot. The clearance only reached the edge of the box, however, and it fell to Casemiro. The Madrid player struck a finish that deflected off a defender and looped over Alphonse Areola into the PSG net.
The goal made it 5-2 to Real Madrid with less than ten minutes remaining in the game, and ended all hope that PSG would make it through to the quarter finals.
