Hazard and Carvajal could come back from their injuries in 'El Clasico'. At least they will both feature in Ancelotti's squad list for the game at Camp Nou. He confirmed they will both be available on Thursday, three days before the match.
Ancelotti confirmed the availability of both players to `Moviestar+'. "The team is doing great because Hazard and Carvajal are coming back for the game. We had problems after the Shakhtar game, but we are solving them and I think we face the match in a good form", said the Italian manager.
He also revealed that he is not going to make many changes in the starting XI that played against Shakhtar. "We need to play this game the same way we have been playing", explained as he confirmed that he will use the 4-3-3 formation.
"The games against Barcelona are always difficult, but they are difficult for them too", Ancelotti wanted to make sure that it's going to be a difficult game for both sides.
When asked about Vinicius form, Ancelotti said he expected it, "I'm not surprised. He is indeed scoring more goals, but I've always had the same perception of him", he claimed.
The three-time Champions League winner praised Benzema. "Karim is now a leader, with a greater personality than in my previous spell and I like that. I see him as a more mature player and a more important one", he said.
"I don't know if he will win the Ballon d'Or because it's not something I have a say in. For what he has done, and what he is doing right now he could deserve it", said the veteran coach when asked about Benzema's chances to be named the best player in the world.
Ancelotti also had a say in the rival players, such as Ansu Fati. "He is a great player that little by little is improving his form. He is among the best and is an important player for them", he said about the Barcelona prodigy,
Real Madrid's boss also had a say on Ronald Koeman's situation: "I don't see anything wrong with him as a manager. I arrived at Everton right after him and people talk really well about him. I don't know him personally", he said.
"I know that managing Barcelona right now is a very difficult task as they've changed lots of players and he is doing a great job", said Ancelotti about Koeman.
