TEAM NEWS:
Cardiff: Manager Neil Warnock says he will make changes ahead of a run of three games in eight days, with Josh Murphy in line for a recall. Meanwhile, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Jazz Richards and Gary Madine will all be given until the 11th hour to prove their fitness after recent injuries.
Wolves: Ruben Vinagre should keep his place at wing-back with Jonny Otto still sidelined, whilst Diogo Jota could be recalled after the disappointing defeat to Huddersfield at the weekend.
WHO IS SAYING WHAT?
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock on staying up:
"Last year was the biggest achievement in the circumstances.
"If you sort of multiply that by 10, then staying up would be in around about that.
"It is doable. You can always look back and wish I'd done this and that. I did feel in the summer we needed a few more players. It's been the strikeforce, we haven't scored enough goals.
"We nearly got a striker and I was let down in the last minute in the window. We did get a couple of midfielders: Harry Arter and Victor Camarasa, who have been great for us."
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo:
"We are not in a good moment. How we analyse it is based on the last performance. It is very poor, five games and just one draw.
"There were a couple of good performances, some bad, and we go and see where we can improve.
"There is no point staying on the past. How do we deal with that? Game by game, training session by training session. We must perform to the standards we are used to."
Form:

This will be the first time the two sides have met in the top flight since Wolves won 3-2 away from home back in Ferbruary 1962.
Wolves defeated Cardiff 9-1 back in September 1955, a result that remains the Welsh side's heaviest home league defeat and Wolves' biggest away league win.
