Cardiff City's season could not have got off to a better start, following a deserved three points from their clash against QPR.
The Welsh side came from behind, after Luke Freeman's cross was not collected by Cardiff's goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and Matt Smith headed home.
Soon, the Bluebirds were handed an equaliser. A sloppy backpass to QPR goalkeeper Alex Smithies put him in trouble and his clearance was charged down by Cardiff's Junior Hoilett who scored the equaliser.
Sol Bamba, who signed a three-year-deal with Cardiff earlier this summer, then headed home from Hoilett's corner, and brought his side the victory.
It is Cardiff's fifth straight win and Cardiff boss Neil Warnock was obviously happy with his team's performance. "If we can be in and around the top four by the end of our September and October fixtures, then I think we'll have a decent chance of the play-offs. We'll have to wait and see". he said.
