Cardiff claim Sala transfer became 'null and void'

The Argentine striker tragically passed away after the aircraft carrying him from Nantes to Cardiff went down over the English Channel. As a result, Cardiff City, the club who Sala had just signed for, are refusing to pay his transfer fee to Nantes and have put a claim into FIFA to say that the deal became null and void upon his death.

The Welsh club also say that there are a number of clauses in the agreement which are unfulfilled, so therefore won't be paying Sala's transfer fee of 15 million euros.
