It would be an amazing response from City, who were comfortably beaten to last terms Premier League title by Liverpool. However, to secure the four major trophies, they do have a few significant hurdles still left to negotiate.
Can Pep guide his side to the elusive Champions League title?
It’s no secret that the owners of Manchester City will not be satisfied until they have won the Champions League, but this is the trophy that still eludes them - and it will be the toughest nut to crack again this season.
However, things got interesting in the first knockout round, as Barcelona, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid all bowed out of the competition. City, meanwhile, cruised past Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 on aggregate and now faces more German opposition in the shape of Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.
If they can get past Erling Braut Haaland and co to reach the semi-finals, they are guaranteed a tough two-legged tie against either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich. That said, City are favourites to go all the way and finally be crowned champions of Europe. This would also be the final part of the quadruple jigsaw if they can first land the domestic treble again.
City set to reclaim Premier League title
Manchester City has a substantial lead at the top of the Premier League and could have the title wrapped up by mid-April. A devastating run of form that saw them win 15 league games in a row, including a 4-1 defeat of Liverpool, saw City open up what is surely an unassailable lead.
Their winning streak came to an end with a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United, but they look to have built a lead that surely won’t be caught. City is priced as short as 1/200 to win the Premier League and they are certainly the champions in waiting. If you like to gamble, check out this casino comparison site.
City favourites to land both domestic cups
City can get their history-making quadruple up and running by winning the Carabao (EFL) Cup on April 25 when they face Tottenham in the final at Wembley Stadium.
They will then move on to the FA Cup final on May 15 if they can beat Chelsea in the semi-final. City, who will face Leicester or Southampton if they get to the final, is currently priced as the favourite with Betway to win the FA Cup, and potentially secure a second domestic treble in three years.
