The Cameroon team were not happy with the bonuses for playing the tournament. The board offered just under 35,000 euros and the players rejected it straight away.
The footballer demanded at least double that, according to 'AS'. Seeing that their complaints were not heard, Clarence Seedorf's men refused to travel to Egypt and missed their flight last Thursday.
Seedorf, the coach, got Samuel Eto'o in to try and resolve the conflict. The ex-Barca man and the Sports Minister managed to organise a meeting in which the players agreed to travel this Saturday. This was despite the players not agreeing with the conditiions.
"We will go, but we are not happy with the government's proposal and we have left the negotiations," was the message the team sent.
Cameroon will make their African Cup of Nations debut on Tuesday against Guinea Bissau.
