Caicedo: "It was impossible to turn Chelsea down despite Liverpool's offer"

Pochettino splashed out a British record £115 million to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton in August. Recovering from a red card on his disastrous debut against West Ham, Caicedo has become a regular in Pochettino's side but is yet to recapture his superb Brighton form.
However, the 22-year-old is not worried and believes he will be able to recover his superb performances soon: "Right now I'm not the real Moises, but I'm sure that I'm gonna come back and I'm going to keep on succeeding. I will give joy to Chelsea fans," he said.
The Ecuadorian midfielder gave an interview to 'Sky Sports' and spoke about his decision to choose Chelsea over Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
"It was impossible to say not to Chelsea, because they were with me supporting me. In the last moment Liverpool called me but it was [too] late because I wanted to play for Chelsea," he claimed.
