According to 'The Times', American investment company ALK Capital are set to complete their purchase of Burnley 'imminently'.
They are still waiting on approval from the Premier League but, unlike with Newcastle United's deal earlier this year, the due diligence is expected to come back clean.
Sean Dyche will be hoping that the deal is done before the January transfer window, possibly allowing the Clarets to bring in some players and turn their fortunes around.
After nine games, Burnley are stuck in 19th. They are two points off safety as it stands and welcome Everton to Turf Moor on Saturday.
