The Bundesliga has nominated Philippe Coutinho, together with Joshua Kimich, Robert Lewandowski, Christian Günter, Stefan Lainer and Amine Harit as candidates for the best player of the month for September.
The Brazilian left Camp Nou flooded by a sea of doubts and criticism, but just after landing in Munich he managed to get rid of them and, now that he was free, recovered the brilliance that he showed when at Liverpool.
Discarded by FC Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho has become a fundamental player for Niko Kovac at Bayern Munich. In the four games in September, he scored 2 goals and also got 2 assists.
"I am happy with everything they give me here and I only want to do my bit, I feel more and more a part of the team, I want to keep improving and always learn something new," the Brazilian stated after his performance against Tottenham.
However, Coutinho tried to turn the page for FC Barcelona: "It's not about revenge, it's about development and enjoying football, I'm totally happy here. I've had the support of my team-mates, coaching staff, fans and journalists from the start, which is important to me".
