The veteran goalkeeper was snapped in a picture at his first PSG training session next to 18-year-old Timothy Weah.
In 1995 Buffon made his professional debut with Weah's father for Parma against AC Milan.
In the match, Buffon kept a clean sheet, and Parma were able to hold Milan to a 0-0 draw.
One of the AC Milan forwards that he was keeping at bay was Weah.
Weah, now 51-years-old, was a prolific striker in his time, playing for Milan, PSG and Chelsea, but he has now swapped football for politics, becoming the 25th President of Liberia.
Buffon joined PSG on Friday as a free transfer from Juventus.
He has signed a one-year deal with the French giants, with the option of another year if he decides to carry on playing.
Many expected him to hang up his gloves after leaving Juventus, while a move to the MLS in America was also on the cards.
According to the 'Daily Mail' Buffon admitted that even he was shocked when PSG first made contact, but believes that he could carry on for longer than his 12-month contract.
"It was a surprise," he said. "I was thinking of a different sort of future."
"How much longer can I continue to play? I have stopped trying to work this out."
"I was still playing for Italy at 40, so I do not want to ask myself this anymore. As long as my body allows me to play."
