The Aston Villa youngster has been in the spotlight for a number of incidents off the field and new Villa boss Steve Bruce says he will speak to the midfielder about his behaviour.
Just over a year ago, the Villa man was photographed drunk and unconcious in Tenerife and he recently was part of a group of revellers who were partying in a Birmingham hotel until 7.45 in the morning.
Most recently, the England U-21 international was banned for three matches for "stamping" on an opponent, leaving Bruce with no option but to have words with the player.
"The one thing I will do is have a word with Jack because he always seems to be in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. People are after him," Bruce said.
The former Hull manager added: "We all know what his ability is but you need more than just ability to go and survive and play at the highest level these days, especially with the spotlight that’s on every football player.
"Jack has been talked about for the wrong reasons too often and I think he’s a little bit unfortunate in this case".
