Brighton make most expensive signing in club's history

According to 'Sky Sports', Brighton and Hove Albion have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian Joao Pedro, who is currently at Watford. The Seagulls will pay around €35 million to the Hornets and the player will side for six seasons.

Brighton have become of the main players in this Premier League season. The Seagulls currently occupy eigth spot with 49 points and are five off the European spots, all with eight games left to go.

Despite focusing on the rest of this season, the English side are also planning for the coming year, and they've already got a player tied down. His name is Joao Pedro.

Accrding to 'Sky Sports', Brighton have signed the Brazilian, and Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the transfer window, has given details of the deal: it'll cost €35 million and he'll be signing for six seasons.

If these figures are confirmed, Joao Pedro will become the club's most expensive signing ever. The current record-holder is Enock Mwepu, who signed for the club from Salzburg for €23 million.

The 21 year old winger is Watford's top-scorer so far this season, scoring 11 and getting four assists in 35 games.
