Accrding to 'Sky Sports', Brighton have signed the Brazilian, and Fabrizio Romano, an expert in the transfer window, has given details of the deal: it'll cost €35 million and he'll be signing for six seasons.
If these figures are confirmed, Joao Pedro will become the club's most expensive signing ever. The current record-holder is Enock Mwepu, who signed for the club from Salzburg for €23 million.
The 21 year old winger is Watford's top-scorer so far this season, scoring 11 and getting four assists in 35 games.
