Marc Cucurella is looking to take the next step in his footballing career after leaving Spanish football behind and now wanting to leave current Premier League side, Brighton. After an impressive debut season in England's top flight, the player is close to a move to Chelsea.
In fact, Cucurella has reached a personal agreement with The Blues and all that remains is for the London club to agree a deal with Brighton. In the meantime, The Seagulls are scouring the market for his replacement.
According to 'Sky Sports Germany', also reported by 'Sport', Brighton's most liked replacement is Angelino. The player does not have a place in the RB Leipzig team this season. This is something he has been told by the coaching staff at the German club themselves.
Angelino is contracted with Leipzig until 2025 but this will not worry Brighton as they know that Cucurella will leave for a healthy fee, giving their bank account a serious boost.
Last season, the 25 year old appeared in 45 matches, starting 41 of them. He scored three goals and made eleven assists. Therefore, Cucurella's position will be covered perfectly by the player.
