He had been on the pitch for only 20 minutes when Marco Asensio collapsed on the pitch, gesturing ostensibly in pain and frustration towards his left knee.
In the press room, Zinedine Zidane did not hide his pessimism, revealing the entire team was worried about the player's condition: "It's worrying. Hopefully nothing serious, but he has gone directly to run some tests at the hospital. It looks bad, we are touched."
Alvaro Odriozola, in the same vein as his coach, also shared his concern for the condition of his partner and took the opportunity to send him a message of encouragement: "Asensio is a great player, so whatever he has he will recover. It's a blow to the group, to be honest".
