The seemingly evergreen James Milner has recovered from a hamstring issue almost two weeks ahead of schedule, in what will no doubt turn out to be a huge boost for Liverpool's title bid this campaign.
Liverpool vice-captain Milner was due to be out of action until the beginning of November, after suffering the hamstring strain against former club Manchester City in their title battle at Anfield, before the international break.
The 32 year old midfielder; who has been deployed in numerous positions for the 'reds' over the last few seasons under Jurgen Klopp, has returned to normal training, and could train alongside his Liverpool teammates ahead of their Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town this weekend.

The hamstring injury Milner sustained would typically keep a player out for a few weeks; which would have seen him miss the late kick-off against Huddersfield, as well as Liverpool's home Champions League tie with Red Star Belgrade, and the Premier League match against Cardiff City the following weekend. However the midfielder is a late contender for his side's match this weekend, and should be back to peak fitness in time for the arrival of the heavy upcoming fixture list.
Milner's return will be a huge relief for manager Jurgen Klopp, as the German also has some concerns about some other major players in his Liverpool squad.

Winger Sadio Mane was hospitalised on Monday after breaking his thumb whilst playing for national side Senegal, with his hand now in a cast. PFA Player of the Year last season, Mohammed Salah's poor start to the campaign was compunded this week, after the Egyptian returned from international duty due to suffering a muscle injury. Defender Virgil Van Dijk was sent home by country Holland as he is still struggling with a rib injury sustained against Southampton last month, but national coach Ronald Koeman insisted this was a precaution at best.
Jurgen Klopp will hope that the younger casualties will show the vitality displayed by Milner in recovering from their own respective injuries, as the 'Reds' look to sustain a title challenge this season.
