"He could be a good player. He would go well in a counter-attacking side, with space and rapid transitions. He would be a winger with a lot of pace," the former Spain manager said.
However, this does depends on Bolt's physical condition: "It depends, it's not just about running 60 or 70 metres, but doing it multiple times. This requires endurance. I don't know if he is prepared, although I am sure he is."
One thing Del Bosque was clear on was the position in which he would play Bolt if he were still managing.
"I think he would be useful as a winger," he continued. "There he would be dangerous.
"In the images that I have seen he looks like an optimistic player, nice and he smiles all the time. It's as if he is living his dream."
