This is already Yves Bissouma's fourth fixture of the season at Brighton & Hove Albion. The Mali international arrived to the English side on Summer 2018 from Lille and already sums up 91 Premier League appearences.
In total, Bissouma has played 101 games for Brighton, scoring four goals and giving an assist. During this campaign, he already played 440 minutes in five games, all of them in the league.
Bissouma's goals are ambitious and he has a lot of confidence in himself as he admits in an interview conducted by his former team-mate Glenn Murray in 'Football Focus': "I don't want to sound arrogant, but I believe I am the best midfielder in the league, because I work towards that goal".
"I know there are many great midfielders in the league, but I can't choose any other player over myself. This gives me confidence and motivates me to keep working hard and show everyone who I am", he claimed.
On top of that, he revealed to Brighton's media outlets what his goal is: "I want to play the Champions League and reach the highest level".
