Biglia confirms his retirement, Aguero vows to continue 'with Sampaoli or someone else'

The futures of a host of 'Albiceleste' stars are up for debate in the wake of their 4-3 loss to France on Saturday, with players making decisions on their future one by one.

"It's up to a lot of us to take a step aside and allow fresh blood to come in," admitted Biglia. "I don't know what the others will do. Another generation is coming through and I hope they can work in peace.

I gave it everything. You have to be honest with yourself," he added. Aguero opted to go down a different route, saying that he would stay on regardless of who was manager.

"We'll keep working at our clubs and if some day my country calls me up again, whether it is Sampaoli or another manager, I would obviously be very happy," Aguero revealed.

Mascherano announced his retirement minutes after full-time, explaining his decision in a TV interview.
