The excentric Argentine coach has been a revelation at Leeds since joining the club over the summer, woth the team yet to lose a match under his charge.
While he has managed the likes of Athletic Bilbao and the Argentine national team, Bielsa revealed in a press conference that he almost joined Swansea City back in 2015, after Garry Monk left the club.
"Was it ever close? Yes. I was willing to work in Swansea but at the end they chose somebody else." Bielsa said.
"I don't remember it very well, I think I wanted to start the season, not come in the middle. And the contact I got was in the middle of the season. It didn't make it easy to reach an agreement."
His current team Leeds will now take on the 'Swans' on Tuesday night, and will look to continue the impressive run they have been on this season.
