Benzema's initmate farewell ceremony

Frenchman Benzema has asked Real Madrid that his farewell ceremony, which will be held this Tuesday morning at the club's sports complex, be intimate, without the presence of the media or a press conference, and with his great supporter, the president, Florentino Perez.
Madrid are preparing a simple ceremony for the farewell of the club legend, the player with the most titles in the history of the club. The French striker made the request on Monday, faithful to his introverted ways and without the desire of a farewell that generates noise.
Benzema has debated over the last few weeks the possibility of continuing for another year to see out the last year of his contract in Madrid, versus, at 35 years-old, going to play in a league of lesser pressure such as the Saudi Arabian, which will be his destination in exchange for a million-dollar offer that hugely improves on his Spanish wages.
He told his manager Carlo Ancelotti and his teammates of his decision to leave on Sunday morning. The club respected his decision to put an end to his lengthy chapter at Real Madrid after 14 seasons.
Florentino Perez will accompany Benzema at the farewell ceremony, which will begin at 12:00 noon, and will give a speech thanking the player with the most titles in Madrid's history, according to sources at the club.
Karim's 25 trophies won will be at the event at the 'Ciudad Deportiva' and the Frenchman will say goodbye to Madrid fans with a few words and without answering questions from the media.
