Atalanta and Torino faced each other this Saturday in Serie A. Gian Piero Gasperini's men, were 3-0 up after 30 minutes following a sensational start.
At 3-0, Andrea Belotti showed tremendous sportsmanship. Cristian Romero fouled him and the referee booked the Atalanta man.
But the Torino man admitted there was no contact and the referee, after lots of persuasion, decided to take away both the free-kick and the yellow card. Torino even gave the ball back to Atalanta.
Shortly afterwards, he was rewarded. Just eight minutes later, Belotti missed a penalty, but he took advantage of the rebound to reduce the deficit. Three minutes later, Gleisen Bremer pulled it back to 3-2 before the interval. Honesty is always the best policy.
