This Thursday is going to be a busy day. Clubs have until 23:59 CEST to register the players they want.
Barcelona are still looking to make signings. Players like Bernardo Silva, Marcos Alonso and Bellerin are still on Barca's radar, although in order to sign them, players must be sold first.
In the case of Arsenal right-back Bellerin, he is very keen to move to the Camp Nou. So much so that, according to 'Sport', he has not hesitated in turning down three Italian clubs. Udinese, Sassuolo and Atalanta tempted him, but the three all received the same answer: no.
And the thing is that Bellerin is clear. Once he terminates his Arsenal contract, soimething that is practically done, according to 'Sport', the defender will see if he can try his luck at Barca.
If Barca needed a sign from Bellerin, this is it. His priority is Xavi's side. He would join them on a free if Arsenal confirm his contract has been terminated so Barca would only have to pay his salary. In that sense, the footballer would not make any objections: he is willing to earn less than what he gets now in London in order to join Barcelona.
The fact Bellerin has turned down three Italian clubs could have consequences because, if Barcelona are unable to reduce their wage bill in order to sign him, Bellerin will have missed out on great opportunities to try his luck elsewhere.
