Pending what happens between Hector Bellerin and Barcelona, Sassuolo are on the lookout for a defender for their right flank and the name of the Arsenal player is being considered by the Italian club.
According to 'Sky Sport', the Arsenal player is considering whether to wait for the Catalan side until Thursday or accept the offer from the Italian club. After a successful season at the Benito Villamarin, having made 32 appearances and provided five assists for the last Copa del Rey winners, he was unable to stay with Pellegrini's side due to the difficult financial situation facing the Andalusian club.
As things stand, Arteta is hoping that Bellerin's departure from London will be enough time to try and make a last-minute signing to give him time to strengthen the Premier League leaders' defence.
Bellerin played 239 games for the Gunners and scored nine goals, including in the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and international competitions.
