Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City) and defender Vincent Kompany (Anderlecht) will not be part of the list of the 28 footballers called up for the Belgium national team, after they are both out injured.
But Courtois does appear in the list, he was replaced at half time in the Champions League this week due to stomach problems, Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan) and Thomas Meunier (PSG) have also picked up knocks.
"On Monday we will see if they can stay and train with us" Martinez declared in a press conference. Belgium are top of their group (Group I) with 18 points out of a possible 18, followed by Russia (15), Kazakhstan (7), Cyprus (7), Scotland (6) and San Marino (0).
A victory in one of the two games would be enough to see the team assure qualification for the Euro 2020.
