It seemed like we were not going to see Philippe Coutinho play for Bayern Munich again, but there will be opportunities again in the next few weeks.
'Sky' said that the Brazilian star will stay at the club past 30th June, the date his loan deal from Barca was due to end.
According to the cited source, there is an agreement for Coutinho to stay at the club until the end of the Champons League season so he could still play a bit more under Flick.
After sealing the Bundesliga title, Bayern have still got the German Cup final and the Champions League ahead of them. After winning 0-3 at Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League last 16, they have more than one foot in the quarter-finals.
Coutinho has not played for Bayern since 8th March which was before the coronavirus break. He started the 2-0 victory against Augsburg and played 85 minutes. He last scored on 29th February in a 0-6 win at Hoffenheim when he scored a brace.
