Bayern Munich:
After stealing two away goals in a 2-1 win in Spain, Bayen are undoubtedly the favourites to qualify to the semi-finals. The Bavarians clinched their sixth successive Bundesliga title on Saturday, so will now be fully focused on their Champions League campaign. Rested against Augsburg, key marksman Robert Lewandowski will be fresh and hungry for more goals.
Jupp Heynckes recently announced that both Arturo Vidal (knee) and David Alaba (back) will not feature against Sevilla. Juan Bernat (cut) faces a race for fitness whilst long term absentees Kingsley Coman (ligament tear) and Manuel Neuer (metatarsal) are still sidelined.
Sevilla:
Off the back of a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Celta Vigo, Sevilla will be heading into this clash low on confidence. Wasteful in that fixture, the Spaniards will have to dig deep and refind their clinical touch that saw them undo Manchester United in the round of 16.
Simon Kjaer (knee), Sebastian Corchia (groin) and Miguel Layun (suspended) are all expected to miss out on the trip to Germany.
Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes:
"They will certainly go on the offensive. If you lose 2-1 at home, you have to take the initiative and that is certainly what Sevilla will do. They have to take risks and score two goals in our stadium. They are a team who press really well, but we know what we can do."
Sevilla manager Vincenzo Montella:
"The impossible things might become possible if you believe, and I still believe. Surely, our percentage of options is low but we will play it."
Did you know?
This is only the second time Bayern and Sevilla lock horns in 'the beautiful game.' The first time, well, was the first-leg.
Possible line-ups:
Bayern Munich: Ulreich; Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Bernat; Martinez, Thiago; Rodriguez, Muller, Ribery; Lewandowski.
Sevilla: Rico; Navas, Carrico, Lenglet, Escudero; Vazquez, N'Zonzi, Banega, Correa; Sarabia; Muriel.
