Bayern München v Chelsea - as it happened
Thanks for joining me here tonight. See you on Tuesday for the Europa League.
FT: Bayern Munich 2-1 Chelsea. A very easy win in the end for Bayern and they will go on to face presumably Barcelona in the quarter-finals. 7-1 on aggregate.
2 minutes added time.
Bayern could seriously go on to win the Champions League. The only problem is that they will face Barcelona in the next round.
Odriozola crosses the ball in and Lewandowski thunders a bullet header past Caballero. A real thumping for Chelsea.
Sule has a shot from the edge of the box that is parried.
Chelsea sub: Gnabry off for Abraham.
Bayern sub: Martínez on for Gnabry.
Kanté has an effort from the edge of the box that goes into row z.
Too easy. The cross comes in and Tolisso manages to make his way in unmarked and taps the ball in. Caballero almost saved it though as it was straight at him.
This has been a pretty easy match for Bayern. They already had this tie wrapped up before a ball was kicked tonight.
Looks like Jkoama_18_'s prediction is coming true.
This time James has a sliced effort that goes over the bar.
Coutinho has a curling effort that goes over the bar.
Bayern sub: Tolisso on for Thiago.
Bayern sub: Odriozola on for Kimmich.
Alaba's shot from the edge of the box is straight at Caballero.
Lewandowski has a deflected shot that goes wide.
Boateng off for Sule.
Bayern sub: Perisic off for Coutinho.
The cross comes in, you expect Mueller to score but he hits it into the ground and it bounces over.
Boateng is back on. His cries of pain didn't obviously reflect his actual pain.
Boateng is down injured, he fell on his knee. Looks like he will have to be taken off.
A reminder that Chelsea need four goals to go through.
Mount has a shot that is easily saved by Neuer.
And we're back.
HT: Bayern 2-1 Chelsea. The hosts have dominated but Abraham's goal offers Chelsea a glimmer of hope.
Emerson crosses along the ground, Neuer parries straight to Abraham who has an easy tap in. A glimmer of hope.
Emerson is booked for a foul on Goretzka.
This match is basically like a pre-season friendly now. There's no chance that Chelsea will score five goals. They are laying for pride.
Chelsea lost 4-1 on aggregate to Barcelona in 17-18. That's the most goals they've lost a European aggregate tie by. They are now losing 5-0...
Gnabry has a shot that goes wide.
Hudson-Odoi had a side-footed effort from outside the box that goes into the bottom corner. VAR disallows it though.
This could be a cricket score. Bayern could easily get more.
First chance for Chelsea but the shot from just inside the box is saved by Neuer.
Lewandowski finds Perisic free in the box and the Croatian taps it first time past Caballero. Easy.
This time Goretzka has a chance from outside the box but he missed.
Mueller has a shot from the edge of the box that goes over the bar. Bayern are showing no mercy.
Chelsea now need four goals if they want to go through...
Jkoama_18_ has predicted that Bayern will win 2-1. Based on what I am seeing, I don't think that Chelsea will score.
Gnabry has a shot from outside the box that is straight at the keeper.
Caballero guesses the right way but it is too high and too perfectly placed. 1-0 Bayern.
Lewandowski is through and takes it by the keeper, and Caballero brings him down. Yellow for the Chelsea keeper too.
Bayern have started the better side.
This really would be a huge upset if Chelsea were to win 3-0. Let's see what happens.
And we're off.
Teams are out.
The winner of the knockout tie will play against Barcelona or Napoli in the quarter-final.
Bayern Munich last failed to score at home to an English team in the Champions League back in 2013. It was against Arsenal.
Chelsea haven't actually won away to Bayern as such, but they have beaten them. They won the Champions League against them in 2012.
Chelsea have a mammoth task ahead of them. They need to win by at least three goals.
Chelsea XI: Caballero; James, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson; Barkley, Kante, Kovacic; Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Mount.
Bayern XI: Neuer; Kimmich, Boateng, Alaba, Davies; Goretzka, Thiago; Gnabry, Muller, Perisic; Lewandowski.
Hello and welcome to Munich for this Champions League last 16 second leg match between Bayern and Chelsea. Team news to come.
