The Bavarian giants have reportedly already chosen who they want to be in the dugout at the start of next season. Heynckes will step down at the end of this campaign, and according to German publication 'SportBild', Thomas Tuchel is the man chosen to replace him.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach was heavily linked to take over at Bayern following the dismissal of Carlo Ancelotti, and recent talks with Everton have forced the German champions to accelerate talks with Tuchel.
The 44-year-old German coach will reportedly turn down interest from elsewhere until the end of the season so he can take on the challenge of managing Bayern Munich and be able to boast the accolade of having coached at the two biggest clubs in Germany in recent years.
