The German club's CEO did not want to give clues over the Brazilian midfielder's future because he thinks its too early to decide whether he will stay in Munich or not.
"On whether we will activate the purchase clause or not... we will decide that we the time's right to do it," Rummenigge said in comments to the German magazine 'Kicker'.
The Bavarian club's CEO said he was very satisfied with the Brazilian's arrival: "He is a player with lots of quality. In addition, he is a nice person and he has integrated very well into the team. We are very happy with the move."
Up to now, Coutinho has played a total of nine matches, starting seven of them. He has scored twice and given four assists, but the club are aware that the Brazilian can do even more.
