Both sides had chances in a high-octane second half, before Messi had the chance to score a second penalty ten minutes from the end. But this time the Argentine saw Jordi Masip save well, leaving the game open to a Valladolid equaliser. That was not forthcoming, however, and the hosts held on for a first win in four
