Barcelona:
Barcelona have made a superb start to the season, winning every one of their four La Liga games to go top of the table, two points ahead of second placed Real Madrid. However, they will be desperate to improve on their performance in Europe last year, when a stunning Roma comeback knocked them out in the quarter-finals. The defeat was made all the more painful by Madrid's continued success in the competition, winning four out of the last five trophies.
Manager Ernesto Valverde left Philippe Coutinho and Sergio Busquets out of his team against Real Sociedad on Saturday, but the pair are expected to return. Nelson Semedo also started that match, but he could be replaced by Sergi Roberto at right-back.
PSV:
PSV Eindhoven also sit at the top of the table with a 100% record in the league, having won all of their five league games. They drubbed ADO Den Haag 7-0 at the weekend, so they will travel to Catalonia with their confidence high.
Manager Mark van Bommel is certain to start in-form forward Hirving Lozano, along with Luuk de Jong and Steve Bergwijn.
