Barcelona run late as Dortmund debrief takes centre stage

Barcelona's available first-team players completed their final preparations ahead of Saturday's match at the Olimpic Lluis Companys Stadium.

The league leaders will be without several injured players: goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is training but still unavailable for selection, full-back Alejandro Balde, and midfielders Marc Bernal and Marc Casado.

After enjoying a rest day, Hansi Flick's squad reconvened at the Tito Vilanova pitch within the Joan Gamper training complex. The session was delayed by more than 45 minutes as the manager and his staff held a lengthy tactical debrief centred around the Borussia Dortmund fixture.

Before training got underway, the squad formed a traditional tunnel of playful slaps on the back of the head—to mark Szczesny's 35th birthday, adding a light-hearted moment to an otherwise focused morning.
