Barcelona plan not to register Araujo until he recovers from injury

Barcelona are working against the clock to strengthen their squad before the start of the season. A task that will not be easy, as the Catalan side continue to suffer financial problems.
The Catalans are still dreaming about the arrival of winger Nico Williams and even Dani Olmo, with whom they have intensified negotiations.
However, another problem is the registration of players in order to comply with Financial Fair Play. Barcelona have therefore seen an opportunity to alleviate this situation. According to 'AS', Ronald Araujo will not be registered this summer as his injury will keep him out for at least four months.
Once the Uruguayan centre-back returns around January, he would be registered as it is possible to do so once the transfer market reopens.
It is an emergency solution, but a sensible one. Araujo's injury will also benefit Barcelona financially as, having been injured with the national team, they will be compensated with around 1.5 million euros.
