Real Madrid take on Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday. Only one of the two clubs will win the trophy and Madrid and Barca will also face off in the transfer market.
'Marca' says that Barcelona are keeping tabs on Velez Sarsfield youngster Gianluca Prestianni. He has also been monitored by Real Madrid for some time and the two Spanish giants could battle for the 16 year-old.
As soon as Madrid signed Endrick, they set their eyes on Prestianni. As for Barca, they missed out on the Brazilian because of their arch-rivals and they could take revenge by signing Prestianni.
Prestianni has already made his Velez debut and he has attracted interest in Spain as both Madrid and Barcelona are interested in his services.
Both clubs agree that the player is capable of doing great things, but they need more time before making a decision. They will not go out and buy him until they are clear it is the right thing to do.
The good news for Prestianni is that he will get Italian nationality in the summer. That means he would not take up one of the three non-EU players Spanish clubs are allowed.
