Although a few days ago, Griezmann's signing for Barcelona was a given, recent events have poured cold water on that option and now there are other candidates on Barca's list.
Two names especially: Christian Stuani and Rodrigo Moreno. 'Marca' states that both players have become important in the Catalan giants' radar in recent days although they are two different types of players.
Stuani is considered a cheap option. The Uruguayan striker is 32 years old, but he has shown this season that he is still in form. As well as being a much more affordable option than the Valencia attacker (his buyout clause will go down to 10 million), Stuani knows Luis Suarez perfectly.
Both footballers have a great relationship which would be positive both on and off the pitch. That said, if the club opts for Rodrigo, it would be much better option in the long run.
The striker is 28, four years younger than Stuani, and although his price would be quite a lot more (it would reach 60 million), he still has a bright future ahead of him. Valencia already see him leaving and it would not be strange that, if Barcelona decided to go for him, that he ended up changing Barcelona for Valencia this summer.
