FC Barcelona announced on Thursday an agreement with TP Vision, the company responsible for the design and construction of Philips products, to wear the brand Ambilight TV on the men's first team sleeve.
In fact, the deal includes a clause meaning that Xavi's side will be wearing the Ambilight TV on their sleeve next Sunday, when they go up against Mallorca in the last game of the La Liga season at the Spotify Camp Nou.
The new sponsorship deal, which was signed on Thursday, was hailed as a "giant step" in the club's commercial strategy, according to Barca vice president Juli Guiu, as they are a "leading company on the world scale in the field of electronics and audovisual technology".
As for the TP Vision CEO, Kostas Vouzas, he made sure to point out that the company he represents are delighted to be able to associate themselves with "a world-wide sporting icon like Barcelona".
