"Barca? When you sign players and they don't perform, the crisis comes..."

Barca is not exactly at its best in terms of sport or money. The pandemic has gravely affected the club.

Edmilson spoke about this. "Barcelona is going through quite a difficult situation. For me, they have signed players who have not shown much on the field, have invested much in them and, unfortunately, when you invest a lot in players who do not give collective results, or individual, as the crisis comes ... That for a big team is very dangerous", he said to 'Marca Claro'.

Barcelona also has issues at the institutional level. "There is a political gap. It is a complicated moment in that sense too", he continued.

And to all this we should add the end of the cycle. "There is a generation that has won and that has reached the famous end of its career and then there are the replacements. These new people are having a hard time getting ahead..." he added.

Finally, he referred to Leo Messi and his future, a question that has the 'culés' on edge. "He has given a lot to Barca. He is the best player I have seen there in recent years.
