Barça want Vidal and Pogba to play together
After officially announcing Arturo Vidal as a Barcelona player, the club are still looking at possible options to improve their squad. Their main target seems to be the mercurial Paul Pogba.
Barcelona want the Chilean and French midfielders to play together, but it could be a near impossible task as Man Utd have no intention of letting him leave.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', after the exit of Andres Iniesta the Spanish champions want a similarly talented midfielder to take his place, and Pogba fits the bill.
Barça want to exploit the poor relationship between the player and Jose Mourinho to be able to bring him to the Camp Nou. According to the aformentioned source, it seems as though Pogba's agent Mino Raiola was at the Catalan club's training facility to offer his client's services.
The agent is thought to have told Barcelona executives such as Eric Abidal that Pogba's dream is to be able to play at the club with Lionel Messi. Be that as it may, it's important to remember that the French international arrived in Manchester for a fee of €120 million, and will now be worth even more than that after the World Cup.
The Catalan outfit will have to put a large initial bid in if they are even going to get Man Utd around the negotiating table.
