Manchester City booked their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after claiming a 3-1 second-leg last-16 win over Copenhagen (6-2 on aggregate).
The reigning champions are just five games away from achieving something only Real Madrid have managed. The Sky Blues have the chance to win two Champions League titles in a row, something the 'Merengues' achieved between 2015 and 2018, crowning them three consecutive times as kings of Europe.
Cityzens full-back Joao Cancelo, who is on loan at FC Barcelona, is still alive in the competition as the 'Cules' still have to play the second leg of their last-16 tie against Napoli but it is his parent club that he sees as favourites to lift the trophy again this year.
"Manchester City are the favourites to win the Champions League. I think so because of the squad, the style of playing, manager. They can win two Champions League in a row, I’m sure," he told 'Gazzetta dello Sport'.
